Here is a sneak peak at a draft of Rand Paul's first piece for Breitbart.

I Have a Dream about the Better Angels of Our Nature

Four score and seven hours ago, I accepted the opportunity to join the lineup of fearless, original thought leaders at Breitbart.com. But for me, it was the best times, it was the worst of times. While I am pleased to join we happy few, we band of brothers at Breitbart, I was shocked--shocked!--to learn that the nattering nabobs of negativism included those who would betray their friend with a kiss. Et tu, Washington Times?
With friends like these, who needs enemies?
What kind of person do they think I am? Is it possible they do not realize that I shall never cease to persevere against them until they have been taught a lesson which they and the world will never forget?
Don't the hacks and haters realize that I shall fight on the seas and oceans, I shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength on the air waves, whatever the cost may be, I shall fight at the town halls, I shall fight on social media, I shall fight in the fields of Iowa and in the streets of New Hampshire, I shall fight in the hills of South Carolina; I shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Republican Party or a large part of it were subjugated and starving?
But an eye for an eye only makes the whole Republican Party blind. A house divided against itself cannot stand. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every country club and Ronald Reagan's grave to every living heart and checkbook all over this broad Party, will yet swell the chorus of the GOP, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.
When people are divided, the only solution is agreement. We agree that the most terrifying words in the English language are: 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' I just want to shrink it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub. Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue. And towards justice, after all, is where the long arc of the moral universe bends.
That's why I will not tire, I will not falter, and I will not fail until all Republicans, a few black men and many white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics -- will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
